After a year of urging by his eldest daughter, the page was launched in May. After more than two months, Dan reports things are going extremely well. “ From the get-go, I’m posting nearly every day, sometimes multiple times a day”, material includes video clips, process and work-in-progress images, galleries as well as content one could not readily post on social media (exclusive content, some nudity, etc) as well as PDF books and other perks. Patrons who join can select from different tiers, including one that comes with an annual sketch. An annual digital art book is available to all patron tiers. He has plans for more digital books and is currently producing a recorded Q and A utilizing questions from member patrons.

“It's been exciting to connect with an audience who want a more immersive, exclusive and consistent experience with the art the studio and the artist, all while helping support the work I’m producing.”

The experience members will have access to include exclusive sneak previews of new work in progress, “ the members get to see the stages of paintings for covers, stories and commissions, not weeks or months after they’ve been completed, but while they’re being created. It’s simply not possible to achieve this level of access within the bounds of social media. Are used to be and less you visit in my studio or I brought something to a convention or show in my portfolio that I’d just finished, you just wouldn’t see it right away.”

As the membership grows, so do the perks and rewards. Once the page reaches 50 members, a new digital art book will be sent to all Night Studio patrons, with more benefits to follow.
